what are you doing more of than you used to?
it crept up. there was no decision, no starting point you can name. just a slow increase, and now it is part of most days. you have noticed, even if you have not said it out loud.
every day there's one live question, the same for everyone. answer it anonymously, see what other people said. it's all gone in seven days.
answer today's question →write down the thing you are doing more of. it might be drinking, scrolling, sleeping, working, cancelling plans, spending, something else entirely. write about how much you used to do it and how much you do it now. try to be specific rather than vague. then write about when the shift started. was there a period, an event, a feeling that opened the door. think about what the increase is doing for you. what does it replace or postpone or soften. write about whether you are worried about it or just watching it. then write one honest sentence about where you think this is heading if nothing changes.
- write about the moment in your day when the habit most often shows up, and what you are feeling just before it.
- think about whether someone close to you has noticed the change, and what they might say if they did.
- write about the version of your life where this thing goes back to what it was before.
this is for you if something in your routine has quietly doubled or tripled and you have not yet decided whether it is a problem or just a phase.
