what did you make it through?

you're here, on the other side of something. maybe you haven't paused long enough to notice that, or to let it matter.

every day there's one live question, the same for everyone. answer it anonymously, see what other people said. it's all gone in seven days.

answer today's question

start by writing about a stretch of time that was hard. it doesn't have to be dramatic or extraordinary. just something that asked more of you than you thought you had. write about what the days felt like in the middle of it, when you couldn't see the end. what kept you going, even in small ways. a routine, a person, a stubborn refusal to stop. then write one line about where you are now compared to then. you don't need to call yourself strong. just notice the distance you've covered.

  • write about a morning during that time, what it took just to start the day.
  • name something small that helped you hold on, even if it seemed silly.
  • write about the moment you first realised the worst part might be behind you.

this is for people who got through something quietly, without fanfare, and haven't really let themselves acknowledge it yet.
