what would you write to the person you used to be?
there is a version of you that still lives somewhere in your body. not as a lesson, not as a phase. as someone who did their best with what they had.
every day there's one live question, the same for everyone. answer it anonymously, see what other people said. it's all gone in seven days.
answer today's question →start with a simple opening. you might write "dear" and then a name, or an age, or just "you." don't try to be wise. write what you wish someone had said to you then, or what you want that version of you to know you remember. you can write about something specific, a day, a choice, a fear they carried. or you can just say the thing you never got to hear. if it helps, picture them sitting across from you. write to them the way you would to someone you haven't seen in a long time but still care about.
- write about one thing your younger self was afraid of that you now understand differently.
- tell them something you forgive them for, even if they never asked.
- describe what you kept from that time, not objects, but habits or instincts.
for anyone who has changed so much they sometimes feel disconnected from who they were, and wants to close that distance, even just a little.
