what did you decide to stop carrying into the new week?

weeks bleed into each other when you carry everything forward. this question asks what you chose, even quietly, to leave behind.

every day there's one live question, the same for everyone. answer it anonymously, see what other people said. it's all gone in seven days.

answer today's question

think about last week. write down the things that weighed on you, not the tasks but the feelings. the guilt, the irritation, the replaying of something someone said. now look at that list and circle the one you are most tired of holding. write a few sentences about why you have been carrying it. then write what it would look like to not bring it with you into monday. you do not have to resolve it. you just have to name the decision to stop letting it sit in your chest.

  • write about something you carried all last week that was never yours to hold in the first place.
  • name the feeling you keep dragging into monday mornings and ask what it would take to leave it at sunday.
  • think about whether you decided to put it down, or whether you are still deciding.

this is for anyone who starts each week already tired, still holding last week's weight alongside this one.
